2006 Cast and Crew Reunion
at the Stardust Commentary:
Fluff LeCoque gave me my
first job as a dancer in Hallelujah Hollywood at the MGM Grand Hotel
in Las Vegas in 1979. I was in rehearsals for Jubilee before the
MGM fire, performed in the Lido De Paris at the Stardust,
Hello Hollywood Hello in Reno, and returned to the Stardust to dance in
my last show, Enter the Night – those were the good old days.
Since then, I have been in
special events and promotions for: Cityscape Promotions, Barbizon Modeling
and Talent agency, the American Cancer Society, Nevada Ballet Theatre, the
Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering at UNLV, and Reno Connections. Most
recently, I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to produce the CAST AND
CREW REUNION at the Stardust. It brought 650 people together that celebrated
five decades of entertainment that has become legendary, along with the
phenomenal growth and the history of the world famous strip.
The Second Annual CAST AND
CREW REUNION will include the 2007 Las Vegas Showgirl Art Competition. The
Art Competition will bring the visual and performing arts together, to
preserve the history of the showgirl and the world famous production shows.
I invite you to help recreate the magic of Classic Las Vegas. Let’s keep it
alive.
